Like grilling. It intensifies the flavor and adds a subtle, smoky richness to veggie, fish and meat dishes. Not to mention, the fat sizzles in the flames.
And steaming, which expands flavors to their fullest. While you’ll never see a steam table with food that’s been wilting for hours, you can order from a huge variety of freshly steamed menu items.
There’s one more little element that we’re big on at Ripe: seasoning. Through our own trial and error, and suggestions from customers in the early days, we’ve created zingy seasoning and spice combinations, zippy sauces and rich marinades that are slam dunk winners.

Ready for breakfast? Our wraps, omelets and breakfast sandwiches start with egg whites, and we don’t skimp on the bacon — which is a-okay when it’s high-protein/low-fat turkey bacon. You’ll never miss the calories and cholesterol of egg yolks, or the fat of pork bacon when you bite into our Wake Up Call wrap — egg whites, tasty turkey bacon topped with low-fat American cheese. Or dig into the our Signature Omelet that doesn’t quit: egg whites whipped with market fresh spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli — and low-fat mozzarella. Meat eaters love the juicy, marinated lean sirloin on our Steak and Egg White Sandwich. There are a dozen breakfast items to choose from, plus hearty sweet potato pancakes.

For a light meal or snack, scoop up our savory soups — like thick, rich Split Pea or light, aromatic Chicken Noodle, made with little to no sodium. Break open a steaming baked sweet or white potato, or go global with the international flavors of Mexican black beans, heady jasmine rice, or crunchy blue chips with mucho-gusto guacamole.

Here’s a concept: creative combos of great ingredients rolled into your choice of wraps, or served over a mound of steaming brown rice. Ripe offers almost a dozen combinations, like spicy Mexicali Wrap – grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, turkey bacon, onion, cilantro and hot sauce; Protein Garden — silky roasted red peppers, firm black beans, avocado with the totally unexpected but perfect accent of teriyaki sauce; or South of the Border, a 6 -oz. juicy grilled sirloin with spicy Mexican black beans, nutty brown rice, a kick of Pico de Gallo sauce, and low-fat sour cream. Or keep it light with Popeye, flame grilled chicken, fresh spinach, and creamy low-fat mozzarella in a toasted spinach wrap.
